Self-Compassion Meditation w/Simge
I’m Simge, a Mindful Self-Compassion teacher, and I’m happy to offer these weekly meditation sessions as a gentle way to arrive before yoga or just as the start to your day. This is a space to slow down, settle, and turn inward with kindness. My intention is to help you prepare for your day not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally, by creating a moment of presence and care at the start of the day.
In these sessions, we will practice meditations to deepen our connection with the body and build a more compassionate relationship with ourselves. This may include affectionate breathing, compassionate body scans, and loving-kindness practices for ourselves. These simple practices can help us notice what we are feeling, soften tension, and meet our experience with warmth rather than pressure or judgment.
The focus is not on doing anything perfectly, but on listening inwardly and treating the body with respect and care. By taking these 30 minutes to pause, breathe, and connect, we can enter the yoga practice feeling more grounded, present, and supported. My hope is that these sessions offer a nourishing beginning, a chance to come home to yourself before moving into the day.
