The Embodied Woman

The Embodied Woman

A collective sensory experience to return to your body

Step out of your head… and back into yourself.

This is a slow, intentional space designed to help you reconnect with your body, your intuition, and your natural rhythm — without pressure, performance, or needing to “get it right.”

Through a blend of guided awareness, somatic practices, and gentle movement, you’ll begin to notice what it actually feels like to be in your body… rather than just thinking about it.

Because most of us didn’t initially struggle with embodiment —we’ve just been taught to override it. Coming back into the body is an unlearning of all the ways we’ve been taught to suppress our most authentic self.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • the difference between thinking and feeling

  • why slowing down can feel uncomfortable (and how to shift that)

  • how to create safety in your body so you can actually trust it

This isn’t about fixing yourself or becoming someone new. It’s about remembering what’s already there.

You’ll leave feeling more grounded, present, and connected — with simple tools to bring this into your everyday life.

No experience needed. Just a willingness to slow down.

Our embodied journey will include:

  • Somatic practices

  • A guided embodied movement practice

  • Embodiment workshop

  • Soothing tea ceremony

Will you join us?

About Lauren Simonis

Hello, beautiful humans,

I’m Lauren, and I’ve been a yoga teacher for eight years, a facilitator for twenty, and a lover of all-female spaces my entire life. Nothing brings me more joy than the magic of women coming together and the profound sense of belonging and deep love that emerges.

My journey into embodiment practices began in 2021 after years of severe burnout and feeling entirely disconnected from myself and the world around me. From trauma-informed group facilitation and yoga teaching, my offerings have grown through one-on-one work with somatic healers, courses in embodied group work and nervous system regulation, and somatic educator training through the Somatic Institute for Women. My approach combines a passion for softness and rest with a deep connection to the wild and untamed that vibrates within us all.
