Lucie was born in the Czech Republic, but she defines herself as a child of the world. Her passion has always been discovering new people, cultures, and places. She found connection while traveling around the world, trying to understand, assimilate to, and feel the places she visited. That is when aerial yoga came to her, and just like that - it became her passion. After years of practice, she became a teacher. She soon found her second home in Porto, settled here, and connected the two passions in her life - yoga and traveling. She opened the first aerial studio in Portugal. Sounds easy, right?

"It still feels like a couple of days ago, when I was opening the door to my first two students. I was shaking, nervous, with butterflies in my stomach, just wanting to disappear from the world. What was I thinking, opening a studio 3000 km from my home? Mum, help! Well, the students loved to fly with me, and so the adventure began."

Lucie finished another aerial yoga training and, in one year, went from one class a week to 15! With more students coming, she felt she needed to soak up more and more information to become an even better teacher for them. She soon completed another 200 hours of yoga teacher training in traditional yoga and realized that there was so much more she wanted to share that could never fit into her classes. And so she launched her aerial yoga teacher trainings.

Through a decade of teaching and working with female clients, Lucie understood how big the knowledge gap is for how to support female clients. She felt the need to support women as they navigate through every stage of their lives. So she studied more. She learned about female anatomy, the nervous system, hormonal changes, and the unique requirements of the female body. Now she is working with women in a completely different way: a holistic and personalised approach; honoring each body, each challenge; eyes that look and eyes that see. Every woman deserves to live her life healthy and pain-free. That’s why she decided to shout loudly to everyone about the magic of the female body.

Lucie still teaches regular classes and 1:1 sessions, but in order to make an impact on the women in her community, she is offering teacher trainings to educate other movement professionals so every woman receives the care and support she deserves.
