There was never a grand plan—just a feeling in my bones that I wasn’t meant for the conventional path.

I grew up in Tucson, Arizona, where I learned to listen closely to the rhythm of nature, to the stories held in both movement and stillness, and to the magic of living between countries and cultures. In 2016, Porto called, and I arrived without a plan, but with a full-body knowing that this was where I was supposed to be. Porto was a starting over. It was like hitting the refresh button and seeing what new version of me would emerge if I listened closely enough to where my heart was leading me. Slowly, piece by piece, I built a life that feels deeply mine. A life woven with creativity, courage, and the belief that we can’t follow anyone else’s map if we want to end up where we belong.

I had spent the decade prior to Portugal mentoring both teens and adults in leadership, development, and social entrepreneurship. I loved working 1+1 with people who inspired me with their dreams and their passion. When I arrived in Porto, I finally decided it was time to start building my own dreams.

First I became an aerial yoga instructor, then a yoga teacher, and eventually, a somatic movement specialist. Alongside Lucie—a relationship too deep and loving to call a business partner—we launched Cozy Yoga + Community as more than just a yoga studio. We knew we needed to create a place where people felt at home. A place where people could connect, learn, and grow more fully into themselves.

And in the meantime, life has been both immensely generous and incredibly challenging. I found myself falling into somatic practices in 2021 after years of severe burnout and feeling entirely disconnected from myself and the world around me. Through 1+1 work with intuitive, somatic healers, courses in embodied women’s group facilitation, and trainings in embodied teaching, a new avenue of mentoring began to emerge.

I began offering courses and 1+1 sessions for women seeking an intimate reconnection with themselves. My passion for nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and embodied healing began to merge with my background in leadership, business, and yoga to create an entirely new concept. This new approach combines a passion for softness and rest with a deep connection to the wild and untamed that vibrates within us all.
